For 10 years Hard Blues Trio has been one of the promoters of blues rock in the south of Brazil. A league of resistance, HBT bets on the strength of the guitar, bass and drums triad, bringing elements and direct connections with the sound of the 1970s, while displaying the freshness of the new vintage. The hard blues spirit shines in “Set Fire”, the group’s 4th individual single, in a lyric that rekindles the (almost extinguished) revolutionary flame of rock, as it serves as a warning about fake news, as well as calling us to protest against the misleading democracies.

The track is produced by Paulo Arcari and Luciano Leães, with Zé Carlos de Andrade directing the music video.

Also in 2022, “Set Fire” will compose a CD/EP with three more tracks released in the last three years: “Escuta esse Rock”, “Missed the Train” and “Vento e Chuvarada”. The group's new album — the successor to "Pé na Estrada" (2017) — will be released between 2023/24.
